Job summary

Jit is hiring a Data Business Analyst to bridge business and technical teams for a major Nordic financial institution. You will define requirements, analyze complex processes, and support end-to-end data solutions in a hybrid setup from Poland (Gdynia/Gdańsk).

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers and Product Owners to ensure data quality, governance and scalable analytics capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as IT Business Analyst, System Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Experience handling complex business and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance and analytics.
• Experience with data workflows, ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in Agile environments and understand CI/CD concepts.
• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define outcomes and solution scope.
• Support design of Data Platform and analytics solutions.
• Work with Data Engineers, Developers, Architects and Product Owners.
• Analyse data flows, processes and system dependencies.
• Ensure data quality, governance and hygiene.
• Manage dependencies and coordinate cross-functional deliveries.
• Support incident management and issue resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
• Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
