Job summary

GlobalLogic in Kraków, Poland seeks a Principal Architect to join the Compute Platform Team. You will design the architecture enabling thousands of customer workloads to migrate from existing hardware onto our ARM platform with no data loss.

You will collaborate with network, compute, and storage leads to define migration strategies, APIs, and validation mechanisms, while documenting requirements and guiding implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive engineering experience in cloud platform architecture and VM fleet migration architecture.
• Proven expertise in distributed systems, high-availability storage, and hypervisor state transfer.
• Expert-level skills in writing requirements and architectural documentation
• Programming proficiency in Go, Python, or C/C+
• Excellent communication in English

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end VM fleet migration strategies to ARM hosts using warm/cold migration.
• Design coordination APIs, rate-limiting, safety guarantees, and failover during maintenance.
• Define data integrity validation, state serialization, and automated fallbacks.
• Lead technical design discussions with network, compute, and storage leads.

Requirements

Job responsibilities
