Job summary

Amentum in Chantilly, VA seeks a Maintenance Planning Specialist to plan, schedule and monitor maintenance for the USAFE GPMS Vehicles Fleet. You will analyze maintenance data, ensure compliance with USAF requirements, PWS and the Amentum QMS, and coordinate with supervision to optimize workflow.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with experience in maintenance administration, proficiency with DPAS/JDRS, and ability to travel as needed and obtain a US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with DPAS and related maintenance data systems is required.
• Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Must be able to obtain host nation driver’s license and maintain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and submits annual and monthly maintenance schedules for USAF vehicle assets.
• Monitors workload and coordinates with supervision to control workflow.
• Tracks Vehicles Down for Parts (VDP/VDM) and updates supervision on status changes.
• Ensures DPAS records are updated with received parts and dispositions.
• Maintains and edits vehicle historical records and data entries.
• Performs baseline safety and quality procedures per contracts and QMS.
