Job summary

Frontex, based in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Senior National Expert (SNE) in the Central Logistics Support Sector/Logistics and Services Unit to oversee terrestrial vehicle fleet management, maintenance support, fuel management, insurance and claims, procurement, and contract management for Frontex fleet operations.

The role focuses on coordinating vehicle deployment, lifecycle management, compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement of fleet efficiency

Responsibilities

• Fleet management of Frontex-owned and leased vehicles.
• Maintaining fleet records, technical documentation, and asset management databases.
• Monitoring vehicle availability, readiness, and utilization.
• Coordinating vehicle registration, insurance, inspections, licensing, and other admin tasks.
• Supporting vehicle lifecycle management activities: acquisition, deployment, transfer, replacement, disposal.
• Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitoring vehicle technical condition and maintenance schedules.
• Liaising with service providers and workshops for repairs and support.
• Managing spare parts, consumables, and maintenance contracts.
• Coordinating warranty claims with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Providing procurement support for vehicles and related services.
• Monitoring contract performance and enforcing SLAs.
• Supporting vehicle deployment planning and fleet sustainment for operations.
• Managing inventory, asset tracking, and incident records.
• Preparing fleet management reports and KPIs.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders, contractors, and authorities.
