Job summary

UL Solutions in Poland is seeking an Engineer (m/f/i) for IID&FACP Services to lead basic electronics certification and performance testing projects. You will manage project scope, set up tests, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with customers and global laboratories while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality documentation.

Travel up to 25% is expected. The role combines certification process knowledge with project management skills and strong English communication to support global

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree (Bachelor's or higher) is required.
• Experience in certification processes is an advantage.
• Experience in project work and PM skills (time management, Gantt, etc.).
• Ability to regularly and effectively familiarize yourself with unfamiliar topics.
• Meticulous, careful work and ability to critically question necessary steps.
• Broad transfer knowledge in technical and project-related disciplines.
• Confident presentation in front of customers, employees, service providers, management, etc.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Question and examine all requests and steps throughout the project to determine relevance.
• Determine necessary steps so that Sales can offer these to customers.
• Plan with precision; regular condensed reporting to management.
• Coordinate with worldwide laboratories for necessary tests.
• Own deadlines; maintain structure and order in the job.
• Travel to customer or external laboratories to conduct tests on-site.
• Ensure documentation is complete, up-to-date, and accurate for certification.
• Support management during audits with data revision and training plans, and mentor new colleagues.
• Network to provide the best possible service to customers.
