Job summary

JP Morgan Chase in Warsaw is seeking an Analyst for the Financial Control team to ensure accuracy of financial statements across Balance Sheet and P&L. You will perform controls, analyses, and reconciliations, collaborating with product control, operations, and global teams to support month-, quarter-, and year-end closing.

The role requires a Finance or numerical degree, 2+ years in finance, strong English, and a proactive mindset to improve controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or numerical field.
• 2+ years in Banking, Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding of General Ledger concepts (Balance Sheet, P&L).
• Excellent business English and communication skills.
• Self-driven with organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to challenge with the goal of identifying control issues.
• Comfort liaising with business and partners while building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for correctness, integrity and substantiation of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts for: Derivatives, Collateral, Reporting.
• Work closely with other corporate functions e.g. Product Control, Asset Class Financial Control, Operations and Reporting.
• Partner with financial control teams globally.
• Manage the consolidation of JPMorgan Chase financial data at month-end for their asset class, including the ability to support month end, quarter end, and year end activities.
• Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments.
• Identify process and/or infrastructure enhancements and work with stakeholders to enact change.
• Mobilize change wherever possible in order to simplify processes and enhance controls.
