Job summary

ABB in Kraków is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan and execute projects within the Finance and Accounting Organization (FAO). The role is hybrid and fixed-term for two years, with potential for a permanent position in the future.

You will work with FAO senior and mid-level management, FAO Service and Performance Practice teams, and cross-functional partners across the business, delivering projects on time and within budgets while developing governance and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Finance Operations due to transformation initiatives and stakeholder management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance operations or 3+ years PM with Finance Ops as a stakeholder; total 8–10 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, MS Office proficiency; solid presentation skills; professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Project Management or relevant field.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering assigned projects within the FAO pipeline, ensuring completion of all tasks and milestones within timelines and budgets.
• Defining and applying appropriate project methodologies; allocating resources; motivating stakeholders; reporting updates to Global PMO Lead and senior leadership.
• Developing and maintaining project documentation, including RAID logs, toolkits, reporting decks, and lessons learned; managing project risks and mitigation actions.
• Ensuring effective project governance by identifying key stakeholders and defining meeting cadences; designing and implementing change management communications.
• Acting as a coach and trusted advisor to other Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
