Merck & Co. in Krakow seeks a Finance Planning & Performance CoE Senior Manager to build and lead a new capability within GBS Krakow, shaping planning, performance reporting and decision-support for Group Finance.
You will direct 13 direct reports and drive a pragmatic, cost-efficient service model. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, business cases, and management materials with strong stakeholder engagement, using Excel, Power BI, SAP BW/BI.
Do you want to build a new Finance Planning & Performance capability in GBS Krakow and shape how Group Finance receives planning, performance and decision‑support services? Your experience in FP&A, controlling, service delivery and people leadership might be just what we are looking for.
You will establish and lead the Finance Planning & Performance Center of Excellence (FPP CoE) within Accounting and Reporting, reporting to the A2R Process Director. The CoE will support Group Finance and functional stakeholders with planning cycle support, performance reporting, financial analysis, business cases, management materials and governed ad hoc analysis. Your role will be to build a pragmatic, cost‑effective and sustainable service model. You will lead a team of Senior Finance Planning & Performance Leads, Controllers and Senior Analysts / Analysts, with 13 direct reports in the target setup. You will make sure the team has clear priorities, visible capacity, strong quality standards, direct daily collaboration with stakeholders and the right development path.
You will be part of the Accounting and Reporting organization in Lundbeck GBS Krakow. The FPP CoE is a new team that will work closely with Group Finance including FP&A, Corporate / Enabling Functions, Commercial Finance, PDS Finance, R&D Finance and A2R. Annual base salary range: 303 900 – 417 780 PLN gross.
