Job description
Client Details

For our Client - a fast-growing ESCO and renewable energy developer with a strong footprint in Poland and ambitious expansion plans across CEE - we are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the financial agenda for Poland and the region.

Description

This is a key business-partnering role, embedded in the local management team and closely connected to the Group HQ and international investors. You will support development, construction and operational phases of PV, energy efficiency and infrastructure projects, working across SPVs, financing structures and long-term offtake agreements.

This is an excellent next step for finance professionals from renewables, real estate, infrastructure or project-driven businesses who want to have real impact on investments and value creation in a growing platform.

You will be responsible for the full financial framework of the Polish and CEE portfolio - from project modelling and financing, through SPV controlling, to group reporting and investor communication.

Key responsibilities
  • Financial modelling and controlling of PV, energy efficiency and infrastructure projects
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management for SPVs and development companies
  • Evaluation of project profitability (IRR, NPV, DSCR, payback)
  • Supporting investment decisions and new project launches
  • IFRS, statutory and management reporting for Poland and CEE
  • Coordination of audits and year-end processes
  • Setting up and improving controlling and reporting tools
  • Ensuring compliance with financing and covenant requirements
  • Cooperation with banks, lenders and financial institutions
  • Preparation of drawdown and utilisation requests
  • Reporting to investors and Group HQ
  • Supporting refinancing, new debt facilities and portfolio financing
  • Building and managing a local controlling function
  • Acting as a finance business partner for Development, Construction and Operations teams
Profile

We are looking for a commercially-minded finance leader who understands how projects are built, financed and monetised.

You will be a strong fit if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in finance in renewables, real estate, infrastructure, construction or project-based environments
  • Hands-on experience with SPVs, project finance, long-term contracts and investment structures
  • Solid background in accounting, controlling and financial reporting (IFRS)
  • Good understanding of tax and financing mechanics
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial models, macros)
  • Fluent English
  • And personally you are:
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and hands-on
  • Comfortable in fast-growing, changing environments
  • Able to work independently and make things happen
  • Motivated by building something long-term, not just running reporting cycles
Job Offer
What's in it for you
  • High-impact role in a fast-growing renewable energy & infrastructure platform
  • Direct exposure to investors, banks and international HQ
  • Real influence on investment decisions and portfolio growth
  • Attractive salary + bonus
  • B2B or employment contract
  • Warsaw city centre office
  • Medical care and benefits
  • Long-term career path as the platform expands across CEE
