Job summary

KSTAR New Energy is seeking an experienced finance professional to support regional operations in Krakow, Poland. You will drive financial processes, ensure accounting compliance, and coordinate with tax authorities to optimizeReturns and audits.

You will work with a global team, manage daily financial activities, and contribute to risk management and process improvements across the regional subsidiaries. A degree in Finance/Accounting and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in a finance-related role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support for business teams, including advice on settlements, tax provisions, sales contracts, invoicing, and regional transaction accounts.
• Ensure accounting compliance, maintain files, submit reports to authorities, support audits and inspections.
• Fulfill tax compliance obligations, research tax issues, and coordinate with tax agents to complete returns.
• Manage daily financial operations of regional subsidiaries, process expense reimbursements and supplier payments, and perform periodic inventory checks.
• Summarize and communicate financial policies and risks to HQ, assist in system improvements for financial processes.
• Submit financial data to headquarters monthly and support finance systems optimization.

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide the necessary financial support for the business teams to drive development, which includes but is not limited to, providing sound financial advice on settlement methods/tax provisions, examining sales contracts, issuing sales invoices, managing accounts for transactions within the regional operations.
• To ensure compliance in accounting, maintain proper accounting files, submit required reports to authorities, uphold internal controls, and assist in annual statutory and special audit, as well as annual inspections.
• To fulfil tax compliance obligations, conduct research on tax issues and provide recommendations, compile internal documentation and guidelines, and coordinate with the tax agent to complete tax returns.
• To manage daily financial operations of regional subsidiaries, examine expense reimbursements and payment to suppliers, organize inventory checks periodically to ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
• To compile a comprehensive overview of both new and existing accounting and regional tax policies, identify and manage financial risks by using advanced risk assessment tools and strategies to monitor and mitigate potential financial threats.
• To submit financial data to headquarters on a monthly basis and handle other finance-related tasks assigned by the company, assist the Finance Department headquarters in enhancing systems related to process management, financial and fund management, oversee the implementation and enforcement of these systems.

Personal Qualities & Experience:

• Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting and Business;
• At least 5 years of working experience in a finance-related role;
• With general knowledge of accounting principles, including transaction handling and financial management;
• With effective financial knowledge and oversight of key finance processes to control financial risk and implement process improvement;
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
