Job summary

Aviva Services Excellence Centre in Warsaw offers a 6‑month paid internship for students or recent graduates in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business. You will support the Central Finance team with daily activities, prepare reports and assist budgeting, forecasting and month‑end processes.

The role requires good English, strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams on ad hoc analyses and projects, contribute to data validation and

Qualifications

• Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field student/recent graduate.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and confidence in working with data.
• Interest in finance, financial analysis and business processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data.
• Good communication skills and willingness to cooperate with different teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to new challenges.
• Availability for 3-5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Central Finance team with day-to-day financial activities and processes.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, management information and ad hoc analyses.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring processes, including analysis of actuals versus budget.
• Assisting with month-end activities, including data preparation, validation and reconciliation.
• Supporting the review and analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.
• Helping with finance-related operational activities, including invoices, payments and other financial documentation.
• Supporting audit-related activities and preparation of information and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Cooperating with other teams across the business to collect, validate and explain financial information.
• Participating in finance-related projects, process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Assisting the team with other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities based on business needs.
