Job summary

CapsLock is seeking a Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of the fast-growing marketing business, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strategic guidance. The role reports to the CFO and requires strong leadership and extensive financial expertise.

The ideal candidate will drive budgeting, policy improvements, and robust controls while partnering with executives and external advisors to optimize value across the group. This is a fully remote, international opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, ACCA preferred.
• 10+ years in finance, with at least 3 in a leadership role.
• Experience with IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with executive stakeholders.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work with a diverse, remote global team.

Responsibilities

• Lead bookkeeping, FP&A, and taxation/compliance teams.
• Oversee accounting and policy implementation/improvement.
• Manage budgeting process and plan/fact analyses.
• Ensure timely financial, and investment reporting for the group.
• Develop robust internal controls and lead internal audits.
• Oversee tax filings, regulatory reports, and compliance.
• Navigate M&A financial assessments and post-merger integration.
• Continuously improve financial processes and reporting.
• Provide insights on financial performance to executives.
• Interact with banks and external consultants.
