Job summary

Finom, a fast-growing fintech, seeks a Lead Analytics Engineer for Finance to partner with treasury, reconciliation and accounting. You will design and scale the finance data model, establish standards, and automate workflows with data-driven insights.

You will own end-to-end data products, from data integration to checks and documentation, collaborating with stakeholders in English and reporting to the Head of Central Data.

Qualifications

• Written expert SQL and strong data modelling skills.
• Experience with ETL and data warehousing or lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD, orchestration and infrastructure-as-code.
• Background in fintech, banking or payments data domains.
• Ability to design reusable data products for cross-functional teams.
• Experience integrating ERP, accounting, banking or treasury systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Treasury, Reconciliation and Accounting teams on processes and data needs.
• Build out treasury data: positions, cash flows and liquidity as trusted data products.
• Scale reconciliation to reduce manual matching and exceptions.
• Support Accounting with data, checks and integrations for close cycles.
• Collaborate on corporate finance and investor reporting from a shared model.
• Design and evolve the Finance data model with tests, lineage and documentation.
• Set data standards and quality checks across Finance data and integrate with systems.
• Introduce automation and agents to Finance workflows to remove repetitive work.
• Analyze current Finance processes and link data work to business value.
