Job summary

Kingfisher plc is seeking a finance professional to support Month End Closing in the Group Commercial Team. You will provide ad-hoc analytics, reporting and consultations to guide business decisions, and assist with standardization and project improvements.

The role requires 2+ years in financial reporting or related finance functions, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Mathematics, and strong English. IFRS knowledge and familiarity with SAP or similar systems are advantageous.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit or similar finance function.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting and/or Mathematics.
Very good written and spoken English.
Basic understanding of IFRS or local GAAP.
Familiarity with HFM, Hyperion, MS Office, SAP or other financial systems.
Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Participation in Month End Closing in Group Commercial Team.
Providing ad-hoc analytics, reporting and consultations to support business decisions.
Supporting various projects including standardization and improvements.
Performing variance analysis and commentary.
Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
Preparation of reports for the needs of stakeholders.
