Job summary

Zurich Insurance Group in Kraków is seeking a Finance Accounting and Reporting Expert on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support Group reporting. You will contribute to quarterly closes, develop Power BI datasets, and prepare IFRS disclosure notes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a university degree in finance or IT, 5+ years of relevant experience, strong English, and knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the quarterly close activities of Group Reporting Team.
• Support and further develop the Group Reporting team's Power BI environment, including maintenance, refresh and enhancement of reporting datasets, master files and dashboards.
• Support in the preparation of disclosure tables and notes for Group IFRS consolidated financial statements.
• Analysis of IFRS Group Reporting submissions from Business Units.
• Support the quarterly Group Intercompany processes.
• Monitor Group-wide intercompany balances, transactions and mismatches.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the Fiori IC Mismatch Tool, Schaumburg reporting and SAP intercompany reconciliation processes.
• Continuous improvement and automation of financial reporting processes.
• Participation in Group FAR projects.
• Close cooperation with various stakeholders i.e. Group Consolidation, FSM, RUs.
• Update of process documentation.

Job purpose

To perform financial reporting activities relevant for Group reporting in order to support and reinforce key business objectives. The role gives opportunity to participate in local, regional and global projects and that is why we are seeking a proactive, flexible individual with a “can do” approach. As a dedicated Expert, you will serve as a support to your manager and advisor to your colleagues and clients.

Please note that this position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the quarterly close activities of Group Reporting Team

This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
