Coursedog is seeking a Forward Deployed Integrations Engineer to embed with customers and own their SIS integration from start to finish. You will work with client IT and registrar teams to ensure live data integrity, build repeatable playbooks, and drive product improvements.

Role blends hands‑on integration work with strategic thinking, requiring strong REST/JSON/SQ L skills, data mapping expertise, and the ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in data or integration engineering, solutions engineering, or a forward‑deployed technical role.
• Experience building integrations against SIS platforms such as Banner, Colleague/Ethos, Workday, or PeopleSoft.
• Strong REST, JSON, CSV, SQL and scripting in Python or JavaScript.
• Proven production change‑control discipline with backups, staging tests, and data care.

Aufgaben

• Be the hands‑on technical owner for SIS integrations with customer IT and registrar teams.
• Own end‑to‑end environment provisioning for staging and production before data flows begin.
• Coordinate SIS connectivity setup and manage bidirectional data flow.
• Configure and validate SIS mappings, data transformations, and dating logic.
• Validate data accuracy with test data and document mapping issues before production.
• Migrate institutional data at scale with performance considerations.
• Root cause and resolve merge and integration failures, beyond symptom fixes.
• Develop API‑based solutions and automations to reduce configuration friction.
• Capture non‑standard SIS fields and design solutions around constraints.
