Job summary

INNIO seeks an Intern Engineer– Static FEA Simulation in Warsaw to join our mechanical simulation team. You will contribute to Finite Element development for core engine components and work with global experts on high-performance gas engines.

The role emphasizes Python programming, data visualization, analytical thinking, and strong English communication as you verify models and support product development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Science/Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in simulation and structural analysis for gas engine components.
• Experience with Python and data visualization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a global engineering team on Finite Element method development for core engine components used across INNIO Jenbacher products.
• Deep dive into finite element modeling (TMF, LCF & HCF) of core engine components (Valvetrain & Torsional Vibration Analysis).
• Verify models against existing test data and help develop improved test methods to close gaps in understanding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deepen technical knowledge of industrial gas engines.
