Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an External Reporting Controller - Analyst to join Corporate Controllers. The role focuses on producing, reviewing, and filing monthly to annual regulatory reports and ensuring accuracy for regulators across domestic and international portfolios.

Key requirements include 1+ year in finance, strong analytics, and proficiency with Excel/SQL. Preference for SEC reporting experience and automation tooling knowledge. Based in Warsaw, on-site with global team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience with SEC reporting, financial control, or product control is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, VBA and automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the production, review and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual regulatory reports.
• Coordinate data collection and quarterly results with lines of business, Regulatory Controllers and SEC reporting teams.
• Consolidate, review and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness; perform variance analyses.
• Adhere to control procedures and edit checks to ensure integrity of reported results and regulator submissions.
• Apply up-to-date product/industry/market knowledge in fair value reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts around data quality and external reporting projects.
