Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking an Expert Data Business Analyst to elicit requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into actionable specifications. You will collaborate with product owners and stakeholders across international teams to design data-driven solutions.

You will work with SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and AI-powered tools to map data, model datasets, and support architecture decisions. Strong English communication and experience in banking or regulated domains are preferred.

Expert Data Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
• Analyze business needs to understand underlying objectives and purpose
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify and translate requirements into implementation specifications
• Communicate requirements and objectives effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
• Perform data mapping, data modeling, and solution design
• Contribute to application architecture, maintainability, and solution design
• Analyze data to identify issues, assess implications, and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with developers and test engineers throughout delivery processes
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different business areas
• Own requirements documentation, including use cases, and drive quality improvements
• Access and analyze complex distributed datasets using statistical methods
• Promote analytical best practices, challenge existing approaches, and influence colleagues toward improved ways of working

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in the banking industry
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation techniques and business analysis
• Expertise in translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
• Practical experience with AI solutions, including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic solutions
• Excellent SQL skills, including Snowflake and MSSQL
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience working with international stakeholders and multicultural teams
• Understanding of domain-driven design, event-sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code practices
• Understanding of enabling data-driven decision making through accessible data solutions
