Job summary
Laminar Projects is seeking a senior candidate to enhance complex project delivery by deploying Oracle Primavera Cloud and Primavera Unifier. You will lead with strong people and process focus, driving adoption and intelligent configuration across large, multi-site projects in a dynamic environment.
You’ll work with a rapid-growing Integrated Project Controls Systems team, collaborating with clients across Europe and beyond. Expect travel and hybrid/remote engagement fitting project needs.
Qualifications
- Experienced deploying Oracle Systems in the construction industry, with Primavera P6 experience.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership to proactively take ownership and inspire teams.
- Track record of delivering improvements in projects and organisations.

You will be enhancing the delivery of the most complex and interesting projects in the worldby leading and supporting deployment of specialized project controls systems that help streamline operations and make life easier for the project teams.You’llbeinvolved inevery phase from gathering requirements andidentifyingbusiness challenges to recommending the best systems, configuring them with industry-leading practices, and driving training and adoption to make a real impact.
We work with various systems, but for this role, we are specifically looking forexpertisein deployingOracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)and/orPrimavera Unifier.Experience with planning in Primavera P6 isa must, andgoodcommand ofplatformslike Oracle Aconex, OracleCloud Infrastructure (OCI)andOracleFusion ERP would bea valuableasset.You’lllead on the technology aspect,but with a strong focus on people and process,so your communication skills need to be excellent.
You’lljoin arapidlygrowing teamresponsible for sales and implementation of the projectcontrolssystems. There will be opportunities to manage people, lead projects, drive system sales, develop internal processes, and take on key business development activities.

This role is part of our Project Management Consultancy which focuses on:

More specifically you will join the Integrated Project Controls Systems (IPCS) team who are industry leaders in improving delivery of complex projects through deployment of the most suitable software on the market.

1. Own the implementation plan: Own the system implementation planand drive software configuration and adoption to achieve desired outcomes. We believe in your ability to assess the situation and commit to what is achievable.

_ What kinds of projects would I be working on? _
It’s common for people to be exposed to several projects in their first year with us. You’ll work on some of the most complex and interesting environments in the world. We’ve delivered over 100 data centres internationally, many of them fast-tracked and multi-package. Our teams have supported flagship infrastructure programmes like HS2 through integrated planning and digital delivery, contributed to over $30bn in power generation and transmission projects, and played a key role in the development of high-containment labs and R&D campuses for some of the world’s most advanced industrial and life sciences clients. You might find yourself working in sectors such as data centres , infrastructure (including defense, rail, and highways), high tech (such as advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors), or complex building projects. These aren’t hands-off assignments. They’re dynamic, hands-on environments designed for people who want to be challenged. _ Who are our clients? _
Major owners/operators and main contractors with project values between £1m and £1bn+ globally.
_ Where would I be working? _
One week you might be working from home. The next, you might travel to the site to meet the construction teams and help organise them. Maybe you’ll pop into our London office for a workshop or a beer. Maybe you’ll fly out to exotic (and sometimes not!) locations in Europe or the Middle East to visit clients. It really depends on what you want to get involved in and what fits with your life.
_ How does what I do connect with the long-term impact on the construction industry? _
You’re tasked with understanding and solving common problems. We don’t want to reinvent the wheel every time, so you’ll be responsible for documenting new solutions and evolving ones we’ve developed. This goes into our knowledge repository, which we’re going to open source to the industry.
The knowledge you capture will be used by us to build new products. You’ll constantly test those products in the field, so we can rapidly iterate and improve them for anyone in the industry to use.
