Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Executive Recruiter & Talent Intelligence Partner to deliver market intelligence, talent insights, and executive candidate research supporting leadership hiring and succession planning. You will partner with Executive Recruiters, HR partners, and business leaders to identify, assess, and engage top executives while providing data-driven insights that shape talent strategy.

This role combines research, sourcing, and stakeholder management to ensure a high-quality candidate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in executive search research, talent intelligence, executive recruiting, talent sourcing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience conducting market mapping, talent research and candidate identification for senior-level roles.
  • Strong sourcing skills utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, talent intelligence platforms, executive search databases and networking techniques.
  • Experience conducting candidate assessments, screening interviews and developing candidate summaries.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and executive candidates.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence & Talent Mapping: Conduct research on target markets, industries, organizations, and leadership talent pools.
  • Develop talent landscape analyses, competitor benchmarks, organizational charts, and market mapping reports.
  • Monitor leadership movements, emerging skills, workforce trends, and competitive talent activity.
  • Pipeline Development & Candidate Generation: Build and maintain executive talent pipelines aligned to current and future business needs.
  • Source and engage senior-level talent through proactive outreach, networking, and market research.
  • Develop diverse candidate pipelines that support strategic workforce and inclusion objectives.
  • Candidate Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct initial candidate screenings and competency-based interviews.
  • Prepare candidate profiles, summaries, and assessment insights for executive recruiters and hiring leaders.
  • Support candidate slate development through structured evaluation frameworks and interview methodologies.
  • Data, Insights & Reporting: Maintain accurate candidate, market, and search-related data within talent systems.
  • Create dashboards and reports on pipeline health, market trends, search activity, and hiring outcomes.
  • Leverage insights and analytics to inform search strategies and improve hiring effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder & Candidate Experience: Deliver a high-touch, professional experience for executive candidates throughout the search process.
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring executives, HR Business Partners, and Talent Partners to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Support internal mobility and succession planning initiatives through talent identification and market intelligence.

The Executive Recruiter & Talent Intelligence Partner plays a strategic role within the Executive Search & Talent Advisory team by delivering market intelligence, talent insights, and executive candidate research that support leadership hiring and succession planning efforts. This role partners closely with Executive Recruiters, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to identify, assess, and engage top executive talent while providing data-driven insights that inform talent and hiring strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience creating executive talent maps, competitive intelligence reports, and market insights presentations.
  • Familiarity with diversity sourcing strategies and executive talent pipeline development.
