We’re here to help our colleagues achieve success and offer an inclusive and collaborative culture where your voice is valued.We are looking for an experienced German or Swedish speaking Event Planner (venue sourcing) to join our team.This is a fully remote role; you can work from anywhere in Poland.**What you will be doing:*** Maintain and grow the relationship with local key bookers through consultative service. A thorough understanding of principles and key drivers of customer satisfaction.* Working with suppliers to secure savings and add value. Maximize all commercial opportunities for Amex GBT Meetings and Events.* Effectively plan and manage client projects and deliver outstanding service to the clients specification* Excellent venue knowledge – maintained by visiting venues by site visiting, educational and familiarisation trips. Demonstrate commercial awareness through recommendations to clients and negotiations with suppliers.* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise responsibilities, meet client deadlines and turnaround high volumes of requests in peak periods.* Accurate data inputting of the clients requirements into the CVENT system keeping each enquiry up to date with any amendments.* Working knowledge of appropriate technology to prepare costing proposal through to final billing reconciliation process.* Problem solving skills with the ability to leverage relationships to solve challenges**What we are looking for:*** **Fluency in German or Swedish and English*** Knowledge of the event management industry and **at least 1 year of experience organizing corporate events in an in-house or agency event environment**; experience in Swedish or German-speaking countries is an advantage* MS Office user* Negotiation and contracting skills* Strong communication skills and strongly developed service ethic.* Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality* Experienced in Starcite and or CVENT an advantage#GBTjobs**Location**Poland**The #TeamGBT Experience**Work and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.* **Flexible benefits** are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
