Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in Europe seeks an experienced engineer to drive standardization, performance improvement and operational excellence across sites. You will collaborate with plants, technical teams and leadership to push KPIs and implement best practices end-to-end.

The role requires 5+ years in fabrication of structural components, knowledge of aluminium extrusion, and hands-on Lean/Six Sigma/TPM. Fluency in English and a data-driven approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fabrication of structural components
• Experience with aluminium extrusion manufacturing is an advantage
• Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen or Operational Excellence
• Proven experience working with and improving manufacturing KPIs, particularly OEE, uptime and utilization
• Experience participating in or leading cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites or regions
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical field
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
• Understanding of aluminium extrusion processes and manufacturing requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fabrication standards across Hydro’s European operations focusing on safety, efficiency and reliability
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, uptime, asset utilization and quality
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites
• Share best practices and harmonize fabrication processes across Europe
• Provide expertise and support to plant leadership and technical stakeholders
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across sites
• Contribute to improvements in quality, safety, sustainability and overall operations
