Job summary

Norsk Hydro is seeking an experienced professional to work with plants, technical teams and leadership across Europe to drive standardization, performance improvement, and operational excellence in fabrication of structural components. You will develop and maintain fabrication standards, monitor KPIs, and lead cross-functional improvement projects across multiple European sites.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of fabrication experience are required, with

Qualifications

5+ years of fabrication experience in structural components (cutting, milling, assembly, fastening, bending, punching, welding).
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
Experience improving manufacturing KPIs (OEE, uptime, utilization) and leading cross-site projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain fabrication standards across European operations with safety, efficiency, and reliability focus.
Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, uptime, asset utilization, productivity, scrap and quality.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites across Europe.
Share best practices and harmonize fabrication processes across the European network.
Collaborate with plant leadership and technical stakeholders to provide expertise and support.
