Hydro Extrusions in Poland seeks a Senior Welding Engineer to develop and qualify welding processes for railway components, including MIG, TIG and FSW, ensuring EN 15085 and ISO 3834 compliance.
You will define welding parameters, maintain WPS, collaborate with production teams, and provide on-site support across European sites, focusing on aluminium 6xxx alloys while upholding safety and quality.

The role is responsible for supporting the development, qualification, and execution of welding activities for structural components in railway applications (MIG, TIG, FSW). It combines deep technical welding expertise with strong knowledge of standards, materials, and quality requirements specific to the rail sector. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with key railway standards such as EN 15085, and ISO 3834 and ensures compliance with other quality standards, HSE regulations, and customer requirements.
In addition, the role supports the Automotive Sector in the selection of appropriate technologies, cost evaluation, and serial equipment planning, while also guiding, advising, and challenging the production sites.
