Job summary

DKSH Management Ltd. seeks a Specialist, Chemical Product Safety Europe based in Warsaw to ensure compliance, classification, labeling, and safety documentation for chemical products across the EU, UK, and Switzerland.

You will be part of a 12-person regulatory team protecting product integrity and supporting DKSH’s European subsidiaries. Responsibilities include CLP classification, SDS authoring, and monitoring regulatory changes while training internal stakeholders and liaising with suppliers

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Ecotoxicology, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), SDS authoring, and chemical product regulations (REACH & CLP).
• Proficient in English; European language skills preferred.
• Rigorous, pragmatic, with genuine interest in regulatory/chemical safety topics.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze physicochemical, toxicological, and ecotoxicological data for risk assessment.
• Classify substances and mixtures per CLP, UK, and Swiss requirements.
• Assess Dangerous Goods classification and transport per ADR/IMDG/IATA.
• Author and maintain SDSs and CLP-compliant labels for products in Europe.
• Review supplier SDSs, product compositions, and data for compliance gaps.
• Monitor evolving chemical regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Coordinate notification of classified mixtures to Poison Control Centers.
• Train internal stakeholders on handling, hazard management, and labeling.
