Job summary

Phillips-Medisize Poland seeks a Manager Statutory & Tax Reporting to lead a team responsible for statutory reporting, tax compliance, and controllership across Europe. The role coordinates audits, ensures accuracy and timeliness, and drives process improvements while partnering with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with statutory reporting and audits.
• People leadership experience.
• Knowledge of European accounting principles.
• Good system knowledge.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, local GAAP and tax accounting.
• Experience in multinational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Statutory & Tax Reporting Controllers/specialists with clear priorities and workload distribution.
• Oversee preparation/review of statutory financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate statutory reporting across the assigned entity portfolio to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor Income Statement and Balance Sheet reporting and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate external statutory audits and liaise with auditors to close findings.
• Review VAT, corporate income tax and other compliance deliverables.
• Escalate operational and compliance issues and drive resolutions.
• Support standardized processes, controls, and governance across the European Center of Excellence.
• Drive quality, efficiency, automation, and process simplification initiatives.
