Job summary

EDP Renewables is seeking an Environmental Management Intern in Warsaw, Poland. The role focuses on environmental management across wind, solar, and storage projects during development, construction, and operation, ensuring compliance with environmental laws.

The internship lasts 6 months with potential for extension. Candidates should be in their 3rd year (Environmental Science/biology) or a recent graduate, with 20–30 hours weekly availability and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

Student in at least the 3rd year or a recent graduate in Environmental Science or Biology/Ecology.
Availability: 20-30 hours per week.
Proficient written and spoken English; advanced/native Polish.
MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Basic SAP knowledge is beneficial.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and motivation to grow in environmental space.

Responsibilities

Environmental management of wind farms, solar and storage projects during development, construction and operation, ensuring legislative compliance at each stage.
Coordinate and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and contractor reviews.
Assist in obtaining environmental permits and cooperating with authorities and stakeholders.
Support in ecological and acoustic studies and data analysis during project lifecycles.
Deliver environmental procedures briefings to contractors and internal teams.
Assist in maintaining ISO 14001 EMS across wind and solar projects.
