Job summary

Mirantis is seeking a Systems Architect for enterprise infrastructure, focused on aligning technology with business goals. This remote EU role serves global customers and requires broad expertise across cloud, containers, OS, and AI-ready platforms.

You will shape target-state architectures, roadmaps, and integration plans, and communicate decisions to executives and engineers. Remote in EU with travel to EU/US as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive architecture and engineering experience across infrastructure or platform engineering, including customer-facing architecture or advisory experience.
• Ability to connect technology decisions to business goals across the enterprise.
• Broad fluency across technologies, including private clouds (OpenStack), multi-cluster tooling, and virtualization strategies.
• Strong programming experience in Python or Go and clear communication to business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers, colleagues, vendors to improve the customer experience.
• Assess business strategy, drivers, and constraints; propose target-state architectures.
• Present architectures, roadmaps, and rationale to executives and engineers.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to remove shortcomings and evolve platforms.
• Travel within EU and US as needed to engage with customers.
