Job summary

Ørsted is seeking a Senior Network Architect to define and govern network architecture across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will develop standards, reference designs, and guide global implementation while collaborating with architects, engineers, and product teams worldwide.

You will contribute to enterprise architecture standards, support change management, and drive optimization including automation across infrastructure. Strong certification and cloud networking exposure are required.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications in network/architecture (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto Architect) preferred.
• Exposure to cloud networking on Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with ITIL, SAFe and security/compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIS2, NERC CIP).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Strong experience in infrastructure architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise network architecture for cloud and on-prem environments.
• Develop guidelines, reference and solution architectures based on Cisco, Palo Alto and Citrix stacks.
• Guide technology implementation, testing, and service transition lifecycle.
• Identify optimization opportunities across infrastructure including automation.
• Translate business needs into architecture designs and user stories.
• Collaborate with managers, architects, engineers and vendors to ensure consistent implementation.
