Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the development and adoption of enterprise-wide data architecture practices in a highly regulated, research-driven setting. You will shape data strategy, establish scalable information management frameworks, and enable data-driven initiatives across multiple business functions.

Collaborating with business and technology teams, you will ensure data assets are reliable, accessible, and ready to support advanced analytics and AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or data management in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture concepts, including distributed data platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based data environments, data modeling, and SQL.
• Understanding of data governance, master data management, metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Experience supporting research or scientific data domains within compliance frameworks.
• Fluent English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise data architecture principles, standards, and governance.
• Design scalable data solutions for reporting, analytics, and operations.
• Translate business needs into reusable data products and information models.
• Guide teams in adopting consistent data structures and semantic frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to drive data initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to build an AI-ready data ecosystem.
