Job summary

Solid in Wroclaw/Walbrzych, Poland, is seeking a mid-level software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and services using Java and Python. You will build APIs and backend services connecting enterprise and manufacturing systems, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions.

The role sits in the Production Engineering Division focusing on greenfield manufacturing systems and digital transformation across the Pan-EU region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on production experience with Java and Python.
• Experience with microservices, layered architectures, databases, data modelling, APIs, data pipelines, testing and code reviews.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial or automotive environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerisation or orchestration.

• The role is based in Wroclaw/Walbrzych, Poland, with hybrid work requiring at least three days per week in the office and flexibility for travel.
