Job summary

Mirantis seeks an Enterprise Architect to align customers' technology landscapes with business goals. You will work with client leadership and engineering teams to assess current-state architectures and shape target-state roadmaps that balance cost, risk, and value.

You will navigate cloud, containers, OS, platform components, and AI governance to create integrated solutions. Travel across the EU and US is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years across infrastructure or platform engineering, including customer-facing architecture or advisory experience.
• Experience with private cloud platforms (OpenStack) and Mirantis Kubernetes tools (MOSK, k0s, MKE).
• Ability to travel, primarily within the EU and US.
• Strong communication of architecture and rationale to business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to translate business strategy into technology direction.
• Design coherent target-state architectures that serve business objectives.
• Develop transformation roadmaps balancing value, risk, cost, and reality.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, and reference models.
• Evaluate cloud, container, infrastructure, and AI options and provide defensible recommendations.
• Act as trusted advisor between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Present architectures and roadmaps to executives and engineers.
• Engage on-site with customers across regions during discovery, design, and advisory processes.
