Team Up Recruitment is helping a global technology company hire a Squad Lead (Engineering Manager) in Poland to steer a key product domain. You will guide ~20 engineers, shape technical direction with PMs, and ensure scalable, high-quality software while balancing feature delivery with long-term platform health.

The role is highly technical at architecture level but does not require daily coding. Located in Warsaw with hybrid work, offering 25,000–32,000 PLN gross per month plus annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and leadership exposure.
• Proven ability to lead a large engineering squad.
• Strong background in B2B SaaS or enterprise web apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional engineering squad of ~20 engineers and specialists.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define technical direction and roadmap.
• Drive architectural discussions for scalable, maintainable software.
• Balance new features with long-term platform sustainability and debt reduction.
• Foster engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Align priorities with Engineering, Product and Design stakeholders.
• Support hiring, talent development and succession planning.
