Job summary

KK Group in Szczecin, Poland is seeking an Engineering Quality Assurance Specialist to embed QA practices across Power & Controls – Product & Engineering. You will drive audits, train engineers, and support projects with data-driven quality improvements.

Responsibilities

Job description

Are you passionate about driving quality in complex engineering environments and ensuring high standards across products and processes? KK-Group is looking for an experienced Engineering Quality Assurance Specialist to strengthen our Power & Controls – Product & Engineering organization.

About the role

As an Engineering Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and embedding quality assurance practices across our engineering and project landscape. You will act as both a driver and a trusted advisor, supporting engineers and project teams in achieving consistent, high-quality outcomes.

You will become part of a small, highly dedicated team that works relentlessly to improve and support quality within Power & Controls - Product & Engineering (PCPE). The team operates with a strong focus on data-driven improvements, leveraging a range of Engineering performance KPIs as the foundation for Closed Loop Quality initiatives.

The role involves close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders and requires a structured yet pragmatic approach to quality.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes and tools
  • Train and support engineers and technical teams in QA methodologies and best practices
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure proper follow-up on findings
  • Provide QA support to projects and engineering activities
  • Support customer QA cases, including Non-conformances and Material Review Boards (MRB) and help creating and align on Technical Waivers
  • Drive continuous quality improvements and standardization of documentation, designs and products in close collaboration with Technical Product Owners
  • Contribute to and utilize Engineering performance KPIs to support Closed Loop Quality initiatives
  • Aligning and managing commitment of various stakeholders across functions and organizational levels
  • Collaborate closely with other quality departments within KK-Group and externally towards our various customers
Your profile
  • Quality ambitious by heart
  • Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or similar technical background
  • Proven experience within Quality Assurance processes, tools and systems
  • Proven experience working with or experience in product developments
  • Strong understanding of project execution and engineering workflows
  • Experience handling Non-conformances and MRB processes
  • Trained and experienced in conducting internal audits (e.g., ISO standards)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with stakeholder management in a large organization as well as with external customers
  • Self-driven and proactive approach
  • Solution-oriented and capable of challenging “as is”
  • Accessible for travel (20-30 days pr. year)
