Engineering Manager needed - 100% REMOTELY

Responsibilities

1. Delivery Management
   • Help the Product Managers to gather technical requirements for features and to understand the priorities from the engineering perspective
   • Help the engineering teams to make real commitments
   • Protect engineers from distractions by creating reasonable conditions and structure for engineers to focus on their goals
   • Be the advocate for reducing the technical debt
2. Engineering Management
   • Leverage the collaboration between cross-functional teams
   • Work closely with teams to improve our architecture
   • Implement engineering best practises
   • Increase engineering excellence in teams
3. People Management
   • Be responsible for up to 10 engineers (backend, fullstack and DevOps) spread across multiple cross-functional teams
   • Foster our engineering culture
   • Be the coach for engineers to improve their technical and social skills
   • Advocate and plan education depending on the skills required in the teams
   • One-on-ones
   • Be responsible for the growth of our teams by being an active part in the recruiting process
   • On-board new engineers

Requirements

• 3 years of technical leadership and people management experience
