You will read test plans, dive into automation and labs, and ensure readiness for releases through hands-on leadership.

The role focuses on building a zero-defect mindset, improving processes, and delivering reliable mission-critical dispatch solutions used by public safety agencies worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline with software/testing focus.
• Experience leading a software test or QA team and willingness to lead people.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing strategies.
• Familiarity with AI tools applied to engineering problems.
• Ability to drive roadblocks to resolution and communicate risk clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality bar across manual verification, system test automation, and labs.
• Lead AI adoption in testing and define standard practices.
• Coach and grow the test team with clear expectations and feedback.
• Report progress, risk, and issues to executives across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
• Develop deep domain knowledge in public safety voice technology and real-time communications.
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and DevOps to improve lifecycle practices.
