Job summary

ENGINEERING LEAD/MANAGER

We are looking for an Engineering Lead/Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team responsible for building and scaling our payments platform, a high-scale, business-critical system processing millions of dollars in transactions every day. The core product is already in production, and the team is actively expanding it with new capabilities, integrations, and workflows as the business grows.

This is a high-impact technical leadership role for someone who combines strong people leadership with deep engineering experience. You’ll lead a team of full-stack engineers, partner closely with Product and other Engineering teams, and help drive the technical direction of a complex distributed system where correctness, reliability, scalability, and observability are critical.

The platform spans a mature and evolving technology stack, including JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), PostgreSQL, SQS, and related technologies. Experience with every technology isn’t required, we care more about strong engineering fundamentals and experience operating complex systems at scale.

In payments, the details matter. Small mistakes can have significant financial and customer impact, so we’re looking for a leader who sets a high bar for engineering quality while enabling the team to move quickly
