INGENIOUS.BUILD is seeking a Developer Team Lead to guide a small engineering team building a cloud lifecycle platform for real estate and construction. You will lead design, coding, testing, and delivery while reducing legacy code and driving best practices.

You will mentor engineers, hire and onboard, coordinate with product teams, and ensure timely deliveries in a flexible, low-bureaucracy environment that values impact and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable SaaS or ERP-like systems.
• Experience leading a development team and delivering complex projects.
• Excellent communication in English (B2 or higher).
• Strong focus on maintainable, decoupled code and domain-driven design.

INGENIOUS.BUILD is seeking a skilled Developer Team Lead who is passionate about writing code and excited to lead a small team of engineers. This person should embrace Servant Leadership and be passionate about empowering their team to grow and succeed. The Developer Team Lead should also have excellent programming skills and a deep passion for developing large applications.

Being a part of the team you will:

• Use software like PHP 8.4, Laravel 11 and PostgreSQL.
• Lead and guide one engineering team to plan, build, and deliver high-quality software while optimizing code, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery.

• The DevOps team is responsible for infrastructure, so you can focus on development. Our pipelines are set up with PHPStan, PHPCS, unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, all supporting automatic deployments.
• Learn that our philosophy is to write code that's easy to test and reason about. By structuring business logic in clear PHP classes, separate from the framework, we avoid complex, 'magical' solutions that complicate understanding and testing.
• We have a fairly big modular monolith. The interactions between modules are based on facades, adapters, or events, helping us maintain strong boundaries and modularity. In our more intricate modules, we incorporate DDD to keep the domain logic well-structured and business-aligned.

Skills and Experience needed:

• Communicative English at a B2 level or higher.
• Extensive experience building scalable applications, ideally with large-scale systems like CRM, CMS, or ERP. Direct SaaS experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP 8.1+ and modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, with experience in modular monolith and layered architecture.
• Strong focus on framework-agnostic development, prioritizing clean, maintainable code that maximizes business value and minimizes dependencies.
• Thorough knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) and robust testing strategies, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Experience managing a team of developers and being responsible for delivering multiple complex projects.
