Job summary

Fortive Corporation in Poland is seeking an Employee Relations Partner – EMEA to lead investigations, guide HR teams and business leaders, and ensure policy compliance across the region. You will shape Employee Relations processes and provide coaching on performance management and conflict resolution.

Collaborating with Legal and HR peers, you will monitor ER trends, deliver training, and support policy harmonization to foster a positive, compliant workplace culture across EMEA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Progressive HR experience with emphasis on Employee Relations and investigations.
  • Knowledge of EMEA employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong ethics, professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgment in sensitive situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HR and Case Management systems.
  • Professional HR/Employee Relations certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end work environment investigations from intake to resolution for a region within Fortive Operating Companies.
  • Prepare and present investigation reports, recommendations, and corrective actions to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other teams to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
  • Develop and implement Employee Relations processes, programs and policies.
  • Provide coaching to HR teams and leaders on performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Engage with Talent Enablement, Total Rewards, and People Operations for systemic ER approaches.
  • Analyze ER data to identify trends and root causes, offering proactive solutions.
  • Design and deliver ER training and education to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate regional opportunities for policy harmonization and enterprise projects.

Employee Relations Partner – EMEA
Summary

The Employee Relations Partner – EMEA is a key contributor to the Employee Relations Center of Expertise (COE) team and the Human Resources function, supporting the company's mission and values. The Employee Relations Partner – EMEA is responsible for leading work environment investigations such as appropriate workplace conduct or relevant allegations, resolving Employee Relations issues, and providing guidance and coaching to HR teams and business leaders, in turn enabling people leader capability relative to various HR policies and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct end-to-end work environment investigations from intake to resolution, including case interviews, documentation review, fact-finding, analysis, and outcome resolution, for a region and group of Fortive Operating Companies, in a timely, thorough, and objective manner.
  • Prepare and deliver investigation reports, recommendations, and corrective actions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal (Compliance and Employment), and other internal teams to ensure adherence with regional, country, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement Employee Relations processes, programs and policies to foster a positive and respectful work culture.
  • Provide coaching and guidance as a trusted advisor to HR teams, people leaders and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, feedback, and other positive Employee Relations topics.
  • Partner with other centralized HR functions such as Talent Enablement, Total Rewards, and People Operations, to provide a systemic approach to Employee Relations matters.
  • Utilize data to monitor and analyze Employee Relations trends and metrics and provide insights and solutions to Operating Company and Group leadership to proactively address root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Design and deliver Employee Relations training and education to relevant stakeholders.
  • Due to the close proximity to work environment investigations, this Partner will have the unique ability to evaluate and lead regional opportunities and enterprise projects for relevant policy harmonization where appropriate and applicable.
  • May assist with organizational change initiatives where Employee Relations expertise is required.
  • Stay updated on best practices and emerging issues in Employee Relations and HR.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Progressive Human Resources experience and expertise in Employee Relations, with focus on conducting complex work environment investigations.
  • Demonstrated experience working with global organizations and strong knowledge of EMEA employment and labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Uncompromising ethics and high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases, projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in HR and Case Management systems.
  • Professional Certification in HR or Employee Relations, such as CIPD, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEI, is preferred.
