Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an experienced VAT professional to oversee VAT compliance across the EMEA region. You will ensure accurate VAT treatment and provide technical guidance to finance and business teams.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in VAT compliance, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English. You will monitor legislative changes, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement in VAT governance within a global biotech and life sciences context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with Tax Authorities experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in EMEA VAT compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel emphasized; Power BI and SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Organized, analytical, methodical with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication, able to explain VAT concepts to non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VAT compliance, filings, and reporting across the EMEA region.
• Ensure accurate VAT treatment of transactions and provide technical guidance to finance and business teams.
• Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess business impacts while driving continuous improvement in VAT compliance, automation, and governance.
• Manage VAT audits, tax authority inquiries, and compliance reviews; collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to optimize VAT processes.
• Identify tax risks and implement controls and process improvements.
