Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist, EMEA to join our team in Poland (Lodz or Warszawa). You will ensure compliance with European, Middle Eastern and African chemical and product safety regulations across paints and raw materials, collaborating with R&D, sales, supply chain and manufacturing.

Your responsibilities include maintaining regulatory data, preparing SDSs, supporting product registrations, monitoring regulatory developments, and answering compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry or related field.
• 3+ years in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of REACH and VOC regulations.
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements for chemicals.
• Knowledge of GHS classifications and SDS/labels.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused, results-driven and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory environment for new legislation in sales.
• Audit formulation compliance with current country regulations.
• Anticipate future regulatory actions impacting the business.
• Assess regulatory conditions of new markets before entry.
• Monitor raw material classification changes affecting SDS and labels.
• Contribute to artwork to meet regulatory standards and justify claims.
• Respond to formulation disclosure requests from authorities.
• Maintain PSRA-related procedures and work instructions.
