Job summary

Axalta seeks a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Leader for the EMEA region to drive compliance programs across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will partner with R&D, commercial, supply chain, and manufacturing to influence product safety, regulatory strategies, and market access.

The role requires a science degree and 10–15 years in regulatory or product stewardship, plus 5–10 years in management within coatings or chemical industries, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Engineering).
• 10-15 years of work experience in a regulatory or product stewardship program function.
• 5-10 years of work experience in the coatings and/or similar specialty chemicals industry.
• 5-10 years prior direct and indirect managerial responsibilities.
• Experience with product management and product development processes.
• Proven ability to think strategically and assess regulatory, business and market trends.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement product stewardship and regulatory policies to support regional business goals.
• Monitor regional regulatory developments and provide timely impact assessments.
• Develop product registration strategies with regional and global teams.
• Ensure compliance with regional regulations and manage hazard communication and registrations.
• Lead regional PS&R staff training and development.
• Investigate Product Stewardship Incidents and identify preventive measures.
