Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Network Planner for our Thetford Plant. You will evaluate materials, manage inventory levels, release production orders, and coordinate builds to ensure customer orders are delivered on time.

Responsibilities include coordinating with plant schedulers, demand planners, and cross‑functional teams to mitigate supply risks, monitor performance, and support financial forecasting. Hybrid on-site work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain functions including warehousing, distribution and logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain preferred but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to decide when to deep dive.
• Proven collaboration and management skills in a diverse, matrix organization.
• Basic project-management skills and lean/continuous improvement knowledge.
• Procurement planning to optimize inventory via reorder point, lead time and safety stock.
• Experience with demand and operations planning processes.
• Understanding of financial impact of supply-chain activity, incl. profitability and service level.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and communicate short to mid‑term tactical plans balancing supply and demand.
• Align transfer orders to demand and send to ERP or local shipping system.
• Review transfer order exceptions and adjust as needed.
• Apply scenario planning and rapid response tools.
• Collaborate with Plant Schedulers, Demand planners, and others to resolve risks.
• Lead OPLAN reviews with key partners and support regional inputs.
• Monitor performance, approve planning parameters and drive improvements.
• Be accountable for inventory targets and input to forecasting processes.
