Job summary

Eaton is seeking a LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer to join our expanding team. The role tests, installs, and maintains LV equipment across EMEA, with extensive travel and primary customer liaison responsibilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrates strong LV testing, commissioning, and practical knowledge of switchgear. Travel across multiple countries is required.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• LV distribution systems knowledge with switchgear products, theory and practice.
• High competence in LV testing, commissioning, and customer witness testing.
• Ability to travel and stay away across the EMEA region.
• Ability to work independently, lead when needed, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the EMEA region to service Eaton LV equipment, performing commissioning, testing and SAT services.
• Act as the primary customer contact during site activities and installation projects.
• Prepare RAMS, including arrangements for high-voltage and high-current testing.
• Develop and execute SAT test plans based on specifications, drawings, and relay settings.
• Perform LV testing and commissioning, including primary plant testing and functional testing of switchgear.
• Interpret electrical drawings and challenge omissions where required.
• Support project delivery by working closely with Project Management to meet timelines.
• Lead on-site activities when required and coach other service engineers.

We're now looking for a LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer to join our growing team.

This position can be based anywhere in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Finland or Denmark, extensive travel across EMEA will be required.

What You’ll Do

As the LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer you will support our customers with the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Eaton LV equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel within the EMEA region and deliver commissioning, testing maintenance, and SAT services for Eaton LV equipment in line with safety standards
• Act as the primary customer contact during site activities and installation projects
• Prepare RAMS, including arrangements for high-voltage and high-current testing
• Develop and execute SAT test plans based on specifications, drawings, and relay settings
• Perform LV testing and commissioning, including primary plant testing and functional testing of switchgear
• Interpret electrical drawings and challenge omissions where required

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Electrical qualifications with solid theoretical and practical knowledge of LV distribution systems ( switchgear products)
• High competence in LV testing, commissioning, and customer witness testing
• Ability to work independently, lead when needed, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility to travel and stay away across the EMEA region
