Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Katowice is seeking an Engineer, Embedded Software Test to independently test firmware features and grow your expertise in embedded systems. You may work on protocol stacks, controller firmware, or platform software within a 6-8 person team across 20+ embedded teams worldwide.

You'll report to the Team Leader/Manager, Embedded Software, with a hybrid schedule in Katowice, Poland. Expect collaboration with teams in the USA, Singapore and Czechia while advancing automation

Qualifications

2+ years of practical test automation experience in Python.
2+ years of experience in embedded systems firmware testing and defect analysis.
Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet) or RTOS is a plus.
Experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Fluent English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

Test firmware components for Rockwell Automation devices.
Create and maintain test plans, cases and documentation; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in Agile/SAFe development activities; collaborate with global teams.
Support defect analysis and root-cause investigation.
