FERCHAU Engineering GmbH is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) to contribute to the development of new products by combining embedded software with firmware and electronics. The role involves hands-on work with production equipment and collaboration across an international technology company focused on energy storage, battery systems, and industrial applications.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in embedded software or firmware development.
• Hands-on programming experience in C and C++.
• Practical knowledge of Python.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Experience in software testing and validation.
• Experience working with electronic or industrial devices.
• Ability to independently handle complex technical assignments.
• Ability to propose technical improvements and solutions.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge within the relevant area of specialisation.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Poznań, including at least 2 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for new products and technologies.
• Prepare specifications for software modules.
• Test and validate developed software.
• Use tools supporting embedded systems development.
• Develop and maintain firmware and software solutions for devices used in an industrial environment.
• Report progress and completed activities.
• Cooperate with project team members.
