Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Kraków is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop firmware for IoT-enabled locks. You will work on security‑focused protocols, RTOS, and CI pipelines to deliver reliable, secure products.

You will collaborate with hardware and QA teams, implement features in C/C++, contribute to test automation in Python, and help shape architecture while debugging and resolving issues across the stack.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in firmware development for embedded platforms.
• Fluent in C and/or C++.
• Proficient in Git.
• Basic electronics knowledge.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware in C for next-generation IoT-enabled locks.
• Integrate new protocols and features with a focus on security.
• Build and maintain Continuous Integration (based on GitLab CI).
• Contribute to test automation development in Python and Robot Framework together with Quality Assurance Engineers.
• Contribute to architecture design.
• Investigate and resolve bugs.

What would you do as our Embedded Software Engineer

• Develop firmware in C for next‑generation IoT‑enabled locks
• Integrate new protocols and features with a focus on security
• Build and maintain Continuous Integration (based on GitLab CI)

The skills and experience you need
