ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Embedded QA Intern to support validation, lab bring-up, and test automation for embedded devices. You will work with dev boards, write Python-based tests, document procedures, and help turn concepts into production-ready results.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware/software work, Linux command-line operations, and clear English reporting. Polish language proficiency and a willingness to work in a hybrid lab environment are required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role aimed at students in final years or recent graduates.
• Basic Python experience or coursework for test scripts is preferred.
• Comfortable working in Linux and documenting results in English.
• Fluency in Polish and strong written/spoken English are required.
• Familiarity with hardware concepts and lab testing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support firmware and hardware validation on dev boards and lab setups (power-up, basic measurements, functional checks).
• Write and maintain test scripts (mainly Python) for unit-style checks and simple integration tests.
• Document lab procedures: cabling, configuration, test data, pass/fail criteria.
• Use Git for test code, configs, and documentation; follow team practices with guidance.
• Run scripts on Linux (CLI), manage logs, and learn embedded Linux tooling used in the lab.
• Communicate findings in English; participate in reviews and raise questions early.
• Optionally assist with CI-related test runs or local automation mirroring pipeline steps.
