Weare looking for anEmbedded QAEngineer tojoin Yalantis and work onIoT solutions involving embedded devices, firmware, hardware components, mobile applications, backend services, and APIs.

The main focus will beonembedded testing, firmware-level validation ofhardware devices, and ensuring the quality, stability, and performance ofIoT solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded devices and IoT solutions.
• Perform firmware-level testing and validate hardware device behavior under different scenarios.
• Conduct environmental testing tovalidate device performance under different temperature and humidity conditions.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues inembedded systems.
• Work with logs toanalyze device behavior, defects, and system performance.
• Verify API behavior and integration between embedded devices, software components, and backend systems.
• Document test procedures, test results, defects, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, mobile, backend, ML, andQA teams toidentify and resolve issues.
• Participate indesign reviews and provideQA input during product development phases.

Requirements:

• 3+years ofexperience inQA/testing ofembedded systems.
• Strong understanding ofembedded systems architecture and firmware testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with hardware device testing and firmware-level validation.
• Experience working with logs and analyzing device behavior.
• Experience testing full-cycle IoT solutions, including embedded systems, mobile applications, web applications, and backend services.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools, such asoscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
• Understanding ofenvironmental testing standards and procedures.
• Knowledge ofcommunication protocols used inembedded systems, such asI2C, SPI, UART, USB, and Ethernet.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools, such asJira, TestRail, orsimilar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention todetail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability towork collaboratively incross-functional teams.
